Ergon Verdicchio di Matelica Doc bio
  • Ergon Verdicchio di Matelica Doc organic

The etymology of the name "Ergon" derives from the Latin terminology and is linked to the desire to create a reference to the bucolic, an association of rural thought and traditions. For this reason, we were inspired by concepts such as fertility and energy, because our crops aim to make the land fertile and create biodiversity, bringing renewed vitality to our land. “Érgon” means "work", "action" and derives from "energeia" (force in action), "energês" (effective, active), "energòs" (in the act of operating). It is obtained, after careful selection in the vineyard, from 100% Verdicchio grapes from our vineyards with the best exposure.
