Petrara Verdicchio di Matelica Doc organic

The etymology of its name takes up a geographical indication, in fact designating an ancient area of the city of Matelica. Petrara looks like an evolved wine, with an important maturation; the vineyard from which it comes is oriented to the south and therefore enjoys greater exposure to sunlight.

 

Soil type: clayey-limestone

Grape variety and blend: Verdicchio 100%

Grape yield per hectare: 90/100 quintals/ha

Harvest period: end of September, beginning of October

Refinement: 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle
