    The etymology of its name has distant origins, deriving in fact from the Greek "mathesis" (or "study", "meditation"), a term to which, according to some scholars,  also derives the name of the city of Matelica. Matesis wants to represent the expression of Montepulciano in Matelica._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

    Grapes and blends: Montepulciano 100%

    Grape yield per hectare: 60/70 quintals/ha

    Harvest period: end of October, beginning of November

    Refinement: 15 months in 25 hl oak barrels and 5 months in the bottle
